TAKE A BREAK

Curator Judith Sturm chose the work ‘Take a Break’ by the French artist Edmond Dantes as the hook for the exhibition.

Even a superhero needs a break sometimes.
Nowadays, artists are quasi superheroes, because they constantly put themselves and their surroundings in danger through freedom of expression, political and/or socially critical viewpoints, bad lifestyle habits, overtiredness due to 24/7 multitasking.
In this exhibition, we take a step back and relax. Let the viewer simply enjoy the colours and shapes, enjoy the works of art and make up his or her own mind.
