The exhibition Positions – 27 | Roots and Rocks of Mallorca unites the works of two artists deeply connected to the island’s essence.

Yuko captures the ancient presence of Mallorca’s olive trees through the mesmerizing Japanese ink technique Suminagashi, where flowing patterns echo the organic rhythms of nature. Opposing yet complementing her ethereal paintings, Norbert Jäger carves sculptural forms from Marès stone, the very material that has shaped Mallorca’s history for centuries.

Together, their works explore the interplay between permanence and fluidity, strength and delicacy, roots and rocks—offering a poetic dialogue between nature’s forces and artistic expression.
