We are pleased to announce the group exhibition “Positions - 15” at Galeria HMH I in Port Andratx.
Curator and gallery director Andreas Streicher presents a special selection of art positions from different art movements for the duration of one week and explains the deeper meanings and backgrounds of these works of art to visitors.
Shades of White, an evocative exploration of abstraction and identity through the works of Gunda Jastorff and Jürgen Norber Fux. This exhibition delves into the nuanced interplay between texture, light, and the symbolic resonance of white—both as color and concept.
Gunda Jastorff’s minimalist compositions channel the purity and complexity of organic forms, with delicate lines and subtle textures evoking a meditative sense of space. In contrast, Jürgen Norber Fux’s multilayered portraits blur the boundaries between figuration and abstraction, infusing vibrant color and emotional intensity into ethereal depictions of human presence.
Together, these works create a dialogue about the layers of meaning inherent in white: its associations with silence and potential, as well as its paradoxical role as a site for expression and transformation.
