The HMH Art Gallery cordially invites you to the exhibition "Mesokosmos," taking place from September 24, 2024, to October 14, 2024, in Port Andratx. The title of the group show, "Mesokosmos," refers to the Greek word for "middle world," suggesting a connection between the inner and outer worlds – a realm where art becomes the medium of this relationship.
Artists such as Igor Morski, Rolf Ohst, Jürgen Norbert Fux, Andreas Streicher, and Salvador Dalí will present works that hover between realism and fantasy, drawing viewers into this "in-between" space.
In contrast, Ariane Koch, Willi Siber, Gerd Kanz, and Judith Sturm present monochrome works, where color field painting, in the spirit of the "Mesokosmos," becomes a medium of transcendence, revealing the transitions between the inner and outer world, as well as between the individual and the universe.
A particular highlight is Igor Morski's piece "Tears," featured on the flyer. The futuristic depiction of a face with surreal, tear-like elements reflects the emotional tension of the exhibition and invites reflection on the deep inner worlds and their outward projections.
