CHROMATIC DISPERSIONS
Group exhibition
Exhibition dates: 13.03.2025 - 31.03.2025
The group exhibition Chromatic Dispersions is dedicated to the investigation of colour as a dynamic, unfolding phenomenon. The works presented reflect the process of dispersion - the dissolution, scattering and reconfiguration of colour matter in space. Colour is understood not only as a medium, but also as a constitutive element in the creation of images, exploring the boundaries between control and chance, structure and dissolution.
While some works explore gestural painting, experimental material studies or intermedia approaches, others rely on precise colour modulations within photorealistic representations. In this field of tension between painterly resolution and mimetic precision, a dialogue unfolds about the possibilities of chromatic dispersion - be it through expressive dynamics, subtle nuances or illusionistic perfection.
Chromatic Dispersions invites us to experience colour as a processual and transitory medium that not only depicts perception, but actively shapes and challenges it.
