Bärbel Navab Pour

Since 1994, she participated in solo and group exhibitions in and around Hamburg, such as ElbArt, House of Arts, Landrostei, AlsterArt, Foyer Gallery Art, Women’s Museum / Bonn, Galerie Art + framework. In 2006 she founded with three other artists, the studio community “Time 4 Art”, in 2008 with two fellow artists, the studio community “art space 17”. Since 2006, she gives lessons in free painting in the studios. The pictures of Bärbel Navab-Pour are predominantly colored merry, the principle abstract, and yet one finds in them figurative representations – symbols sometimes she tells stories. Invite you to dive into this colorful world and, often to pass through layer after layer and form superimposed colors and always something new to discover. The graphic designer and painter works with acrylic paints, coatings, spray, crayons, pencils, wax, collage mainly on the canvas.
