Inga Mihailovic
Born in 1965 in Belgrade, Serbia, she studied from 1984 – 1989 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. After graduating from post-graduate studies in 1993 she was awarded the master’s degree. There followed a time when she traveled through Europe as a street artist and produced countless portraits with a quick handcrafted gesture.

Today Inga Mihailovic works as a freelance artist and also works as a lecturer for painting and drawing courses in the area Hildesheim and Hannover, where she also lives mainly. In addition, she regularly organizes study and painting trips to Mallorca.
Originally, the artist’s work is characterized by classical oil painting in expressive craftsmanship of Modernism. The foundation that she developed in the creation of countless portraits characterizes today’s design, which she executes with a quick handcrafted gesture. The artist also creates fascinating large-format works in the interplay of drawings, mixed media and pop art portraits.
Mihailovic’s work has been featured in numerous national and international exhibitions since 1986.
