DARK MATTER – The Presence of the Invisible

Dark matter remains a mystery: invisible yet fundamental to the universe. The exhibition “POSITIONS 28 – DARK MATTER” translates this concept into art—exploring materiality, depth, and hidden forces.

Ariane Koch transforms bicycle tubes into a relief-like object that oscillates between organic softness and industrial rigidity. Light and shadow create an almost immaterial depth.

Edmond Dantès portrays a African buffalo in pilot attire—an entity between myth and reality. Its dark, almost sacred presence evokes primal forces and collective memory.

Jürgen Norbert Fux layers and deconstructs his female portrait, creating a sense of weightlessness. The black lips become the silent focal point—both a moment of intensity and absence.
