POSITIONS – 24

The exhibition “Positions 24 – Myths and Legends” presents works that explore various aspects of myths and legends.

On display is Enrique Fuentes’s large-format painting “Sigfried’s Dream” from his Nibelungen series, which engages with the well-known heroic saga. Norbert Jäger contributes a Carrara marble sculpture whose clear design merges classical sculptural tradition with contemporary expression. The ensemble is completed by lithographs by Gottfried Helnwein, offering a distinct perspective on cineastic myths and their relevance in the modern day. The exhibition invites visitors to consider the significance and currency of historical narratives and to reflect on their enduring influence.
