Pop artist | England

Tim Davies

The pop artist from England, earned his Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts and a Master's Degree in Fine Art Printmaking from Camberwell School of Art. He then studied Printmaking at Central St. Martin's School of Art in London. After graduating, Tim Davies began exhibiting his work in London. His work was used on record covers for Pink Floyd and Robert Plant, in animations for MTV and seen on murals in bars and clubs. Exhibitons around Europe followed.

For Tim Davies, happiness is the order of the day. Figures jumping across the canvas with a lust for life, cartoon robots and exotic musicians. The British painter does not see his colourful and extremely lively works as the result of critical reflection. Rather, he wants to make people laugh and spread positive emotions. He wants to speak directly to the viewer. For this reason, Davies' works can be found not only on canvas or paper, but also on an original section of the Berlin Wall, on which he painted his lively pop art robot figures.

In Tim Davies's pictures, inspired by his travels, a cheerful world unfolds, a vibrant mix of Pop Art , Deco and his "Cartoon Cubism". It's a wonderful journey.
